I was always fascinated by this entry in the Little Red Book (blue actually) of the Passenger Transport Industry. I never saw any of their vehicles and now there is a nostalgia for such operators by those people in their 60s or 70s of their overland treks with Overland travel firms, of which GARROW-FISHER, founded in the late 50s , was the pioneer.

Although known as Paddy being from Ireland originally, the former RAF man Garrow-Fisher was called Oswald, as in OJ. A relative with the same name is commemorated in Waterford Church of Ireland Cathedral as here having been a WW1 chaplain.

Finally, on a Wikipedia entry for a post-war plane - interesting that , althought the initial differs (william), probably Paddy's elder brother, one was sold to the Nawab of Bhopal in India.
